The program fees cover the base roundtrip fare from Philadelphia to Rome. Pricing from each feeder flight city will be determined at the time each student’s booking is confirmed. Please note that our office will not know these prices until tentative itineraries are received from the travel agent in May. Fares are estimated until tickets are actually purchased by the University in June.
*Requests for a student not to take the group flight must be made in writing to Mrs. Rebecca Davies, Director of the Rome & Summer Program Office. Any requests must include tentative itinerary, date, time, circumstances of deviant arrival or departure, including name, relationship, id number of person bringing or picking up the child, as well as complete contact information for parents including addresses and all phone numbers, on all dates of the program. Do not confirm travel plans until receiving written approval from Mrs. Davies. Confirmed travel plans and all subsequent changes must then be submitted in writing for final approval. The University of Dallas is not responsible for the safety of a student prior to signing for a student on the start date, or signing a student to a designated representative or the parent on the end date of the program.
There is a $250 charge for all deviations from the group flight.
You may request any departure city that US Airways serves. We will then arrange your flights from this city to Philadelphia on July 8 and home again at the end of the program.
